These are the requirements to enroll in the M. A.:
1. Certificate of undergraduate degree in language teaching, language education, TESOL, or any related area in applied linguistics. Or certificate of undergraduate degree in other areas.
2. Certificate of overall proficiency in English, level B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. This same certificate will be used to show you have the required foreign language requirement before you graduate in the M. A. So, this certificate is both for entry and exit purposes.
3. Registration fee, which is 35% of the minimum wage in Colombia (SMMLV).
4. Interview with the academic director of the M. A. This can be done online or face to face.
5. An original essay (for this registration process) in an area related to language teaching and learning.
Once you turn in all of the documents above and are admitted, you will be asked to upload them and other relevant documents on our institutional academic system: SIA – Sistema de Información Académica. Our Registrar Office professionals will review all of your documents and, finally, you will do the official registration and pay your tuition to become a student in this M. A.
